This is a word of caution that you should not apply the latest SLES11 SP2
kernel with the latest OES11 SP1 patches.
It had been brought to our attention that after applying the latest SLES
11 SP2 kernel (3.0.58-0.6.2.1), subsequently after reboot all NCP exports
are broken. (This kernel version has been released Feb 7th).
Whilst our engineering team is working with the SLES kernel team to
address this critical issue, the advice would be to not apply the
mentioned latest SLES11 SP2 kernel on OES11 SP1 servers.

January 30, 2013 - The Novell Client 2 SP3 for Windows software has been updated. The current version, Novell Client 2 SP3 for Windows, is a support pack release of Novell Client 2 for Windows that includes fixes for problems in the earlier releases and new features.
Product Description
Novell Client 2 SP3 for Windows provides connectivity to NetWare and OES Linux servers for Windows 8, Windows 7, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Server 2008 R2.
Novell Client 2 SP3 for Windows lets users on Windows workstations or Windows Server systems enjoy the full range of Novell services, including: authentication via Novell eDirectory, network browsing and service resolution, and secure and reliable file system access. All services are delivered through industry-standard protocols. The Novell Client also supports the Novell traditional NCP protocol.
Although Novell Client 2 SP3 for Windows is a separate release from the Novell Client 4.91 for Windows XP/2003, it has many of the same features as the Novell Client 4.91 for Windows XP/2003.
