RIM is accepting registrations for BES 5.0.4 for GroupWise. Head on over to http://www.blackberry.com/businessbeta to enroll in the beta program. BlackBerry Enterprise Server for GroupWise has several new key features in version 5.0.4 including:
- BAS Console improvements, such as:
- Ability to sort columns and choose which columns are displayed
- Ability to export data from BAS into .csv or .xml files for reporting
- Added efficiencies for IT Policy and software configuration deployments; allowing for group or individual assignments
- BlackBerry Balance
- BlackBerry Mobile Fusion (BMF) support
- Support for MS Office 2010 attachments
- Added support for password protected MS Office attachments
- Enhanced email pre-population; Full body of message will be sent to device and default number of messages will be increased to 1000 or 14 days
- Increase of Maximum Allowed Attachment size for viewing or downloading up to 10MB
- Features included in the BlackBerry Enterprise Server v5.0 Service Pack 2 and Service Pack 3 releases
