Well, the marketing can't be any WORSE
Better, the product/support commitment is there

General NewsM+Analytics extends M+Archive’s eDiscovery capabilities and provides auditors with quick and efficient in-house case management

Montreal, Canada - January 11, 2010 - Messaging Architects, the global experts in email risk management, today announced the release of M+Archive 2009.2, its policy-based enterprise-class email retention and eDiscovery solution. This major release extends M+Archive’s search capabilities with a robust new web-based tool for eDiscovery designed for maximum efficiency, flexibility, and cost-effectiveness and minimum risk during an electronic discovery process. Additionally, the new version of M+Archive simplifies email management operations with improved reporting and offers an enhanced migration toolkit to facilitate migration between email platforms.

"The reality is eDiscovery is a business process that needs to be managed with efficiency and cost savings in mind," said Frederic Bourget, Vice-President of Messaging Architects' Technology & Solutions Group. "M+Archive has matured into a unique solution that comprehensively solves the challenges of corporate email archiving, compliance and eDiscovery by providing a robust set of tools to each of the participants involved in the process - IT professionals, Legal counsel, internal auditors, security officers, and end users."

Created with the latest web technologies, the new M+Analytics tool provides a rich-client search experience over the web that dramatically speeds up eDiscovery requests and can bring over 50% savings in labor costs related to the search and retrieval of archived email.

M+Analytics comes with built-in web-based case management that enables global companies to collaborate worldwide. Cases can be prioritized and organized optimally through a feature-rich dashboard for litigation or internal investigations.

M+Analytics leverages M+Archive’s sub-second search engine and supports practically any type of search, including keyword and concept search, full Boolean, soundex, and proximity search.

M+Analytics also features a new query builder for aggregated queries to provide highly accurate and defensible early-case assessment (ECA) and review capabilities, as well as allow auditors even greater flexibility in containing the costs of discovery.

M+Analytics is included in the latest M+Archive release at no additional cost.

"The best way to service my organization's legal needs and to maintain a competitive edge is to understand electronically stored information and to be able to apply ESI concepts to federal and state eDiscovery rules. The M+Archive solution enables me to accomplish this quickly and in a cost effective manner," said Mark Hayward, Senior Systems Administrator at Comtech EF Data, one of the first Messaging Architects clients to deploy M+Archive 2009.2.

Additional features of M+Archive 2009.2 include:

    * Support for multiple simultaneous tabbed searching and message mark-up and annotation by auditors.
    * Advanced reporting capabilities with information on the status of processed messages, error logs, and downloadable custom reports.
    * Enhancements to the migration toolkit to facilitate migration between email platforms and perform mailbox recovery from one email system to the other, eliminating the need for additional 3rd-party migration investments.
    * Export to PDF and redaction capability.
