The software you are downloading is the complete Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 SP2 product with full functionality. As you install it, you are required to accept an end user license agreement (EULA). Your rights to use the product are limited to the rights set forth in the EULA.
Novell Open Enterprise Server 2 requires activation codes for both OES 2 and SLES 10 to enable Web downloads of system patches and updates. Both activation codes are good for 60 days. (Support Pack upgrades of existing OES 2 servers do not require new activation codes.)
The codes are sent to your Novell account's e-mail address. Be sure to print or record them for later use.
To continue receiving patches and updates after the evaluation activation codes expire, you must purchase OES 2 and configure the system with regular activation codes. SLES 10 codes are good for one year. OES 2 codes do not expire. Notifications are sent to your registered e-mail address so that you can update your annual SLES subscriptions before they expire.
Note: SLES entitlements in OES 2 have changed. For more information, refer to the End User License Agreement (EULA).Purchasing Novell Open Enterprise Server 2
