How do you think the Attachmate deal will turn out for "Novell"
Well, the marketing can't be any WORSE
Better, the product/support commitment is there
Worse, MS will end up with what is left of Novell’s marketshare & still end up with the patents, leaving the customer as the loser

Novell news for November 4th, 2009

Laid-off older workers are more likely this recession than in past recessions to try to find other jobs, rather than drop out of the labor market, since the tanking of the stock market last year has caused their retirement nest eggs to shrink.Microsoft is always bound and determined to succeed and overachieve in anything that they do – including Microsoft layoffs! Always people to go above and beyond the call of duty, the dearth of ivory back scratchers at corporate headquarters led the charge in Microsoft layoffs, and expanded the first layoff drive in company history from 5,000 to 5,800! Apparently, too few new Bentleys were being seen at the administrative parking lot, and darn it, something had to be done! If a few people have to go on unemployment so that these Croesus wannabes can feel important, it's better to have more <a rev="vote for" title="Microsoft News: Microsoft Layoffs Continue"href="http://personalmoneystore.com/moneyblog/2009/11/04/microsoft-news-microsoft-layoffs-continues/ ">Microsoft layoffs</a> than maybe some short term loans to keep the company afloat.
